Anja Eriksen’s second home in New Zealand has affected her senses.

The island community, with it’s nature and the all-encompassing sea, has given her the greatest inspiration. Textures and surfaces are nature's eternal repeated and immaculate expressions, the feeling of the depressions and elevations when the hand moves across the crustation shells, it is these textures that are the first thing Anja Eriksen notices when she experiences new impressions, there after she sees the surroundings as a whole. The ripple in the water or sand that blows across the shore. In this collection the organic forms are reproduced, the surfaces of the shells, squid, and mussels are united in her innovative jewelry.
